Handling fear in a time of crisis

How do we handle fear in a time of crisis? Yes, we as Christians will say”, I am only concerned”, but let us get real, many are bound by worry right now. Many are facing anxiety in silence because they are afraid to share with their Christian friends. What will they think? Do I not have faith? People that face anxiety already love to isolate themselves from others. We need to be there for them. Please find someone that you can confide in and yes, if you need help, get it. I do not shame you and neither will others. I encourage everyone to reach out to those that you know that deal with anxiety, many of them are having major panic attacks right now. They need love and not judgement. That fear and anxiety can lead to a great depression and many feel they have lost all hope. If that is you my friend, hang on, you have hope in Jesus and you will get through this storm. A few steps to follow that would help by Mama Sandra: Turn off the news, this fear is driving people insane. No one knows what to believe and everyone seems to have their own theory or opinion. Limit social media or follow friends that speak like and not doom and gloom. Spend time reading the Word and find every scripture that deals with fear and worry and speak those scriptures aloud. Do not wait for people to contact you, contact them first. They would love to help you and pray with you. Take one day at a time and be thankful for what you do have. Take a praise break! Get outside and get some fresh air and walk around your house. This will relieve some stress. Just remember Jesus loves you, He has this, and He will lead, guide, and provide. Do not allow fear to rattle your faith. We are all in this together and we are coming out stronger. Fear and anxiety, you must go in the name of Jesus!
